from the town just knock on our door and said that they have had a report of a black bear in our area. I was like OMG!!! They said don't worry just don't put out any food for the birds and keep you garbage pail in for a couple days and with no food the bear will move on!! so me and the kids will be staying in for a couple of days- but I have to say I would like to see it- see what happens when you move up to the 'country' .

What the hell?!! Be careful out there!

i think everyone out they feels like they are going to pass out!!
i feel so sorry for my FH and anyone in construction and out in this mess in the city to top it off!!!

rumor has it, it's not really a black bear it's yelley! she was bored at work and figure she needed some use out of her bear suit on a 95 degree day

I only like to see bears on TV or perhaps the zoo, not in my yard.

One of my BM's is originally from Hopewell Jct.

i have seen so much wildlife in the past 6 months then my whole life on long island!! lol

we have deer ( but so does everyone) wild turkeys wake me up just about every morn-groundhogs living under a bush in my back yard ( he is big!!!) saw a mommie quail and her babys crossing hwy last week --took the baby to the park and saw a bald eagle- did not see the bear but can add it to the list of whats around here.

Her parents still live there but they are moving to AZ where my BM lives now the end of July.

lol I grew up near Poughkeepsie but we didn't have THAT much wildlife! Stay safe!!!
