10 weeks to go and we have not gotten our passports yet. Haven't even done them!!! I am getting so nervous. Fh says we will be fine if we get them out this weekend or Monday morning.

Yup, I think u might be ok. I think it takes 4/6wks...sometimes sooner.

are you leaving the US to go overseas?
if no, you don't need it.
(i say this because most ppl go to the islands and its not offically needed to 2006)
back to the question, you should call and check on it. did you delieverly confimation so you know what date they got it on?

We are going on a cruise. They mailed us a paper stating that we needed our passports.

are you leaving right away? maybe they are starting there own terms earlier.... offical law states 2006 passports are required for all cruises.
