someone, please help!!!!

Ok, well im getting married in sept, and i still havent found a place to take my pictures. The hall we are having it at is not the type of place where you would take pics... and i want ones besides the church. I looked into westbury gardens but they want 315$$ and thats out of my price range. I also need something thats not all the way out in riverhead. I would like to stay as close to nassau county as possible. so if anyone has any ideas for a nice, pretty place not to costly, inside and /or out please im open to all suggesttions

I don't know the cost but have you checked Planting Fields Arboretum?

I don't know Nassau all that wlel but what about the gazebo area in Garden City?
I know my friend's sister took some pictures there and they acme out really nice.

i know people have suggested the garden city gazebo. or maybe a nice park near you. or perhaps a mansion in nassau.

Why don't you just look into something like argyle park (Babylon) or Echo Park (Hempstead).

There's supposed to be a really beautiful park on the water in Great Neck-Kings Point....by the merchant marine academy...sorry thats not more helpful!

I took my pictures at the Duck Pond in Roslyn. I ended up paying for the permit ($50 I think) but no one ever checked on us or the other groups taking their pictures there.

Our pictures came out gorgeous, so I highly recommend it. My photographer did a run through of the park the morning of, so he knew where to take us, we spent about an hour there, taking pictures in about 3 spots.

I would say either the Rosyln Duck Pond, the Garden City gazebo or the CW Post campus.
I heard they have very pretty sections and I believe that there is no charge. How about Clark Botanical Gardens - I think it is in Williston Park?

check out Caumsett State Park. It's totally gorgeous, and you can take pics on the beach. I don't know what their rules are, but i used to go there all the time to just 'get away'. i'm sure you can take pics there. it's near Lloyds Neck; I would google it for the exact location

I think we're going to use the gardens at SUNY Farmingdale....I think it's like $250 for the permit....

The gazebo in Garden City is free. Both of my brothers had their wedding pics taken there and they came out beautifully.

The Garden City gazebo is free and beautiful. Also check out Planting Fields Arboretum, Jones Beach and Long Beach. As for CW Post--I called them up one day to ask about taking pictures there and they said that you can only do that if you are getting married at Post, otherwise, you can try but security might chase you off.

thank you for alll your help!!!!!!!! i looked into a bunch of these and i think we have narrowed it down to 2 choices... now I have to pray it wont rain!!!!!!
