at the time, I just didn't want to...now I feel bad and wonder: is it 'wrong' that I didn't? I think it goes in cycles because I see a lot of brides doing this again.

Its an individual preference. I don't think what you did was wrong at all! Don't worry about it!

DOn't feel bad Lana!!! You did what you wanted to do and looked beautiful! It's hard to second guess when you are in this board (I know that happens to me)

I had always wanted to that but when I got my veil, it just wasn't right for me.

I did not use a blusher. I did not even give it any thought. No worries

I think it's a personal preference! If that's how you felt at the time, then it could never be 'wrong'. It's not like you wore a fuschia dress and fish net stockings down the aisle... you looked BEAUTIFUL on the happiest day of your life, and that's ALL that matters!

Yeah, it's dumb to ponder it NOW....but I was just thinking...Man, did church guests think it was WEIRD that I didn't do this? I hope not!

It's not bad or weird at all, Lana! You looked stunning on your wedding day. You made the decision that was best for you!

I ditched my entire veil at the last minute...it's all personal preference. SOmetimes I wish I wore it, but I was so overwhelmed that day, it disn't feel like me, so I skipped it.

To each our own!

I think it's a personal preference...I originally was not going to ...but when I bought my veil and put in over my face...I decided to wear it....who knows ..still have 2 months to change my mind....

it's definitely not bad at all. I hate the idea of a blusher, to me it symbolizes hiding and walking into this marriage blind, which is NOT what this is about for me... it reminds me of arranged marriages. That's not the symbolism I want as I walk down the aisle.

I know a lot of people don't feel that way, and that's fine for them... but the point is that it's about what you want and what feels right to you, not what's 'in style' or whatever.

I don't plan on doing it. It is not for me. Neither is a Tiara. I just do what looks 'best' for me.

i couldn't agree more. i am not even wearing a veil because the look is just not my style. does that make veils ugly or wrong? obviously not. so then why would not having it over your face be?
