Someone accidentally told me my bridal shower date. Grrr... I'm really unhappy abut this. It was a total accident, though, but I'm still upset. I told me mom and MOH, but I'm not telling anyone else because I do not ant other telling me other details. Everyone will think it's a free for all, and tell me everything. Should I have my MOH change the date or leave it be? I don't know what to do. I never thought I'd be this unhappy.

The same thing happened to me this weekend so I definitely know how you feel. I overheard my FMIL talking about it. I found out the date of the shower she is throwing for me as well as my mom's. My mom and my bridal party would be so upset if they found out I knew so I'm just gonna play dumb and let it be. I feel so sad about it too, but don't want to disappoint them about it.

Yea, I know what you mean about disappointing people. I have enough time though in case they want to change it. I couldn't keep this to myself, though. Everyone tried so hard to not say anything.

I found out the date of my shower by finding my Mom's contract with the hall and it said 'For: Emily's Bridal Shower'. I was a bit disappointed but at least now I know what to wear. Don't worry, I'm sure you'll still have an awesome day!

just act surprised for the rest of the guests. no need to change the date....brides finding out about their shower is something that happens ALLLLL the time! it's just too big of a secret!

know one told we the date thanks god, but i know they are all planning it.
If they sent out invites then they can't change it, but if not see if she can change it.

Ya.. one of my BMs accidentally sent an email to all guests that had my email address on the distribution... I thought she wanted me to be prepared.. but, I wanted it to be a surprise... so, I asked her.. if she wanted to give me a heads-up..
Anyway, they're changing it.. moved on to Plan B as I was told.. don't know what it means??!
So, I shall see..

ell, sorry to hear your stress!!! I would leave it be,....just tell your mom and moh not to discuss it with you...you may know the date..but as long as you don't know anything else it will be fine!!!!!!

Id just leave it be especially if all the invites went out. Just dont let everyone know you know. I also found out about my shower at work. I asked someone if I could use their office to take a phone call. They said yes. Right next to the phone was a big memo saying dont forget Amys shower on Friday!!! It was so hard for me to walk in just knowing about it and trying to act surprised. LOL Being surprised isnt everything though. Youll have fun with all your friends and family
