Long story short my mom is going through a very ugly divorce. My sister's credit card co. called her telling her there was something strange going on. She confirmed it was a fraudulent charge. So my mom being the wife of a slimeball is always thinking he's up to something so she calls me to let me know.
I call my credit card co and sure enough someone had a party on my card over the weekend! The strange part -- the items that were on there weren't high priced items and they were all scheduled to ship to MY house?!
Makes no sense!! So now I had to cancel my credit card and get a new one issued and I have to go to the bank tomorrow and get a new debit card and I'm going to file a police report.
I did manage to get the phone # out of one of the companies I was charged from. It's a phone # from the next town over. I'm wondering if it's someone from a store I shop at?
Either way it's pretty damn annoying!!

I do that with my bank account....and I always check my statement...I'm just glad I caught it before anything else was charged. Now I want to find the person!

Usually when you see a few small charges it is because the person is checking to see if the card works and if they can get away with using it....then they usually charge the bigger items.
This is happened to a few people I know. Just keep your eyes peeled...

I had that happen a few years ago after I bought my older son a watch in the Manhattan Mall. The sales girl was stupid too because she did almost immediately after I left so there was no mistaking it was her. Still stinks though
