Someone tell me whats wrong with my DH

My DH worked at the same place for 8 yrs. The owners sold the company and DH's position was eliminated ( he was manager of the warehouse and they didnt need a warehouse anymore)

so he looked for another job and he found one that pays $15,000 less so he took it and has been there for a few months it isnt in the same field as before either

Today he went on his 2nd interview for a warehouse position again and it pays $25,000 more than his job now...they want him

so whats my problem....he wasnt excited and didnt know if he wanted to take the job either eventually he called and took the job but he doesnt seem happy and I dont know why whats wrong with him?

First congrats to him, but sometimes change is hard even though it seems like a good opportunity. Money isn't everything. I quit a job paying $20K more than I made before because it almost killed me. Maybe he's scared that they'll want much more out of him than he is willing to give for that $$. He may also be considering whether he wants to go back to his chosen field. Open the door for communication without being accusatory. You could let him off the hook and tell him that no matter what job he wants you will be ok with it as long as he feels fulfilled. I hope you guys can talk about this and that he ends up happy with his new job. Good luck.

I keep telling him I want him to do what makes him happy
hopefully he will feel better about his choice
