Someone tell me why I am sooooo Stupid, when it comes to my sperm donor

Thats my father, he has been missing in action. His family called from Ital the other day as to where he is?

So I track him down and finally speak to him and he doesnt mention intvite which I know he recieved, he just says why are they looking for me and thanks for calling.

He is the most selfish Italian man I have ever met. Sometimes I wish I could deport his ass.

Aghhhhhhh sorry ladies, but he goes around to all his friends and family complaining like a dumb ass that we WANT NOTHING TO do with him and its not us its him.

He is such an embarrasment Im so ****ed NOW

That is so true Jenny.
Remember that old song(can't remember title or artist) but it was something about . . . the cat and the fiddle ..,.the man on the moon..... My boy was just like me, yeah, my boy was just like me.....
Basically in the song the father never had time for his son, the son used to beg for his time and feel so sad, but when the father became old, all he did was try to hang out w/his son who now had a wife and family and NO time for his dad. And it shows that it does come around. When these fathers finally want us around, it may very well be too DAMN late.

So don't even let him get to you with his selfish ways. Focus on your future with Paul, the family you will make, and how wonderful it will be.

I hear ya Jenny, I hae actually stopped trying for the most part, but the expecting himn to be normal part is still always in the back of my mind

D, he has issues.. you are a true, good-natured person with a conscience, which is why it gets to you.. but don't let it.. and although you may have regrets about having sent him an invite.. it's better that you did... you did the right thing..

I am sorry to hear this. Many of us have 'father issues'...I have a non-exisitent sperm-donor too. I havent seen or spoken to him in many years and in no way did he deserver the honor to be present at one of the biggest days in my life. I give you lots of credit for being the bigger person and inviting him. Hang in there and try not to let it get to you so bad
