Someone wants to see how much I can handle before I crack!!!

I was so excited about my 1st fitting today. I went for a hair trial w/my mom & FMIL, then ran to Lord and Taylor's to get a Spanx half slip. From there we went to have my dress fitted....... Well, the dress was not only lop-sided but it was almost 2 inches too short. To top it off my veil ripped while detachng the cathedral REMOVABLE layer. What now?........The bridal salon is rush ordering me a new dress and I have to drive to Levittown yet again so that my veil can be repaired . Oh wait, did I mention my sister thinks the tuxes that we chose are too expensive!!!! I have 2 nephews as groomsmen. We are picking up anything over $150 for all the male attendants (total is $230). Is that unreasonable? Well guess who's gonna get stuck paying the whole damn thing. All in all I've been relatively calm but I really feel like Nuff said!

Hopefully 2 months from now, all of this will seem like nothing when you marry your true love!!!

It's funny Janna b/c I thought of you and the problems that you've had and now I'm part of the club . I'm emotionally exhausted and about ready to just stop caring so damn much about every aspect of this commercialized wedding cr@p!

Oh yeah it has taken A LOT for me to get to this point after all of the crap that I have been through. How I have gotten through it without ending up in a straight jacket is beyond me!!!

I guess because you reach a point where you realize whatever happens, happens. All these problems will not matter 5 years from now. None of the problems you face now or between now and the wedding will matter one bit on your wedding day.

Everything will be fixed in time because they have a deadline. There is no getting around it. So don't worry about it!!! (I know, easier said than done) But all the worrying and stressing in the world will not change anything, so it's not even worth it.

And I promise, it does get better. It's a hard battle, but you will eventually get there.

Like Janna said I try to keep things in perspective,I ask myself will 'this' matter 6 months after the wedding, is 'this' worth getting all worked up over. Things will work out in the end & you'll have a gorgeous wedding & everything will fall into place.I know its not easy & I know you are stressing & here's some hugs

Like everyone else said, take these things in stride and try not to let them get to you. The most important thing is that you and FH are getting married, everything else is just bonus. Stay focused on that and all this bull$hit won't seem so bad.
