FH and I went to Fox Hollow yesterday to see the progress on the Somerley room and see how it was coming out. We had not seen it since last year so we were VERY curious, and we were SOOO HAPPY with what we saw!! They are almost done sculpting the wall, the floors were being finished, painting was done, the garden was being put in, and the room looks just GORGEOUS!! AHHHH!!! After we saw the room we walked around the grounds and we went to where the outdoor ceremonies are held and I started to get teary eyed!!! Also, we finally saw the suites at the Fox Hollow Inn and those rooms are absolutely beautiful! Very modern, updated, and clean, we were impressed. So for all you Somerley brides, no need to worry, our room is gnna look AMAZING!!

We are having our wedding there next May!!! We booked it the day before we went back to Afghanistan so we have been able to go back and see progress. Please post pics!!!

It sounds like it's just about finished which is great because the first bride is an LIW bride and her wedding is in 2 days!!

I booked the winter garden because I was told you can't have the outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour with that room...you can have an outdoor ceremony???

Our BM initially told us we could have the outdoor ceremony. Afterward tho he kept giving us the run around about it and told us 'most likely' we could have it. This was last year tho and now that the room is complete perhaps they changed the rules about the outdoor ceremony. FH and I are now getting married at church so the point is moot for us.
Outdoor cocktail hour def was not an option for us tho.
