Does anyone know if there is enough space for a jazz band to play during the CH for the Somerley? The CH room is the room connected to the Somereley room..as of now anyway (Its supposed to be moved downstairs but not sure of the date?)

It may be tight in the cocktail hour room itself. However they expand cocktail hour into the somerley dance floor and they can go there.

I would see what the jazz band would need (etc. PA, Mic etc) Sometimes they can plug into the DJ's speakers.
When i had my wedding, my husband wanted to sing with his band and my DJ said we can use his PA system for the sound. So i would ask both of them about that. Also, you can ask FH if there is room inside the room for the jazz band if that doesn't work out. Maybe they can remove a table or two.

I am supposed to be in the new cocktail room (called the Springfield room) which is being built below the Somerley room. I am getting married in December 2012 and Fox Hollow wrote it on my contract that our cocktail hour will be that room. I really hope they have it done by then! if you are getting married in November, you should be fine, they had told me that it was going to be done around August I think.
