Somerley Room-Fox Hollow Visit Today-Pics in Album

Went to Fox Hollow today to visit the Somerley Room. It is absolutely beautiful in person and pictures do not give in justice. They are still working on some things there and it is not completely done yet. We saw the bridal suite upstairs for that room and it is basically the size of a studio apartment. If you have a huge bridal party...everyone would fit in perfectly and then some more. Also, they have a great lobby room for guests when they arrive early to hang out. If you are having a afternoon wedding like me, then they set up a hospitality bar there with snacks, coffee and tea. The main room is huge and the murals on the wall are prettier in person. Again, for afternoon weddings, i love the glass ceiling and pray for a sunny day cause it adds a nice glow to the room.

They did say that they are adding some new touches. Some of those are:
They will be hanging a huge mirror over the fireplace. They will be adding more lights. They are changing the wallpaper in the cocktail hour room. They will be installing an elevator to the bridal suite upstairs. They will be adding TV's in the Somerley room. They will landscape the outdoor area some more.

All in all the room is beautiful and i am happy i got in with pre construction price because now its expensive. Check out some pics in my album

wow the ceiling is beautiful. I love that room

I love that room! But my wedding is too big to be in there...

Wow it looks awesome. When we went to look it was a tile and a swatch and I have zero ability to envision. It's amazing how much different it looks from when we looked in February!!!

Awesome

BUMP!!

I just checked the fox hollow website and they have added photos of the room at night with uplighting! Its GORGEOUS!!
