As many of you know, autism awareness is a huge part of my life, and the autism puzzle piece is blue.
I need you creative ladies to give me ideas on how i can incorporate autism to be my something blue!!!!
Help! Lindsay?
ETA purple and pink are my colors.

Re: Something blue
This isn't too creative of an idea, but perhaps you can sew something into your dress? Or if you're having a FG, maybe you can have her wear a bracelet with the puzzle piece as a charm?
My FSIL is also extremely involved in the cause and is getting married next March, so I will let you know if she is incorporating it, and if so, what she does.

Re: Something blue
Maybe you could do something on the heel of your shoe? Maybe find an artist who will paint the puzzle piece on?
Good luck!

Re: Something blue
What about doing a donation in lieu of favor and have the autism puzzle piece with a nite saying a donation has been made

Re: Something blue
Well first of all - are you asking someone?
If not - lets get you a blue garter and make an awesome puzzle piece to be the 'charm' and make it blue!

Re: Something blue
I went to a wedding that had autism rubber bracelets and donation cards. It was a cute way of commemorating the donation and FH (who works with special needs kids) wears the bracelet every day to work to show his support!

Re: Something blue
Are you doing the walk Oct 2nd?
Maybe you can have your RH put out a string of blue lights by the two front posts as you walk in or you can make your signature drink something blue and have a sign with it explaining.

Re: Something blue
I like the idea of doing something on your shoe - Maybe you could get a blue puzzle piece and put it on the bottom of your shoe like those 'I do' stickers some people do.
I work with children with autism :) I like that you are incorporating it into your day - very sweet

Re: Something blue
Thanks for all the ideas!!!!! I knew you ladies would have the best ones!
For the donation- this is going to be our favor- we're donating to the EJ Autism foundation, and may do bracelets or pins to go with it.
I really want something for me, like on my person lol.
I love the shoe idea, but I am wearing flip flops the entire day, so don't think thats an option for me.
I love the idea of a bouquet charm!! or some kind of charm. Now to find it.
I am so excited for this!! Keep them coming if you have any!

Why not just pinning that on your BoK or if you want it on the whole time - and your dress isnt uber tight - you can pin it to a plain garter with a blue ribbon bow underneath it.

The link isn't working
But i love the idea. I think I will find a charm to go on my bok!
I do like the garter idea also, but I was planning on doing a Mets garter since FH is a huge mets fan and I am a huge Braves fan.
