I had originally been looking only in Nassau and Westchester but I am now thinking of expanding my search.
I have heard good things about Old Field. Does anyone know pricing?
Any other recommendations for 80-90pp for something that is not a typical catering hall, but also nice with good food!

We are getting married at the Riverview in Oakdale. Right on the river, amazing views. Nice size restaurant and I've heard great things about the food. The definitely fit your budget. www.riverviewoakdale.com

I heard Captain Bill's in Bay Shore has good food.. I looked there. They have nice rooms and they all overlook the Great South Bay. They're the only place I looked at that wasn't your 'typical' catering hall. I can give you other suggestions of places that I looked at that are in your price range but they are your typical catering hall. Some are really nice though.

sans souci in sea cliff is nice. it's $75 per person for their basic menu and $90 for their upgraded. The view is beautiful and i've heard good things about the food.

I think Old Field is expensive, but you can look into it. It may be private also. Atlantis is different, not sure of the amount it can hold though.

I also suggest Capt. Bills.. the food is delicious, the rooms are really pretty, and the price CANNOT be beat. I have pics in my album. FM for more info if you want.

I personally think the OFC is work the slight extra splurge, but also look into Lombardi's on the Sound. The price is right around $100/head and goes down as your guest list goes up. Definitely worth checking out!

I second San Souci in Sea Cliff. It's a unique place (our 2nd choice). The food looks awesome and it looks like a big old victorian house. Good Luck!

If you are having your wedding not in the summer or early fall, you should have no problem finding a great place for under $100 pp. And def even less if you do a day wedding or a friday night. What exactly is the look and mood you are going for?
