I got stuck in the elevator at work for almost an hour! I was just wondering how many other people there are out there who've been in a similar situation. What did you do to pass the time?
That has never happend to me...but I'd prolly play games on my cell phone.
There are very few things in this world that I would freak out about , but being trapped in a small space might do it. I am pretty claustraphobic. Bless your heart!!!! I would probably stand there and scream!!!

Wow! My experience wasn't nearly that bad and I'm not claustrophobic (luckily). I happened to have my phone with me b/c I'd just gotten back from running some errands, so I called the front desk at my work, then FH and my mom. :o) After that, I played games on my phone to pass the time.

it has never happened to me but it happened in the building i was working in on 49th street. The elevator got stuck, between floors, on a friday night. the guy was going down stairs to have a smoke and got stuck. he had his cell...did him no good...no signal....the security on duty was not watching the monitors and the guy was stuck in there for almost 24 hours!!
He was screaming, yelling, jumping up and down, even had a cigarette (I guess the water sprinklers dont go off with smoke) and no one paid attention.
Needless to say, when i got to work on Monday morning, there was a WHOLE new security force there!!![]()
