Something I do in my spare time...

In my spare time I play around with kids clothes....making them fun looking and cute!!! I embellished these originally plain baby boy 'old navy' overalls!!! These are actually the only style boy overalls I've made...girls it's a little easier (and more fun) to play around with!

I'd love to hear opinions...





Here's a little example of a girls pair that I've done...the flowers are painted and the rest is sewn on.

I figured the best oppinion was from little boys so I asked both of mine and though they are 7 and almost 9 they said..' i want them without the top parts can we go get them.' and the 9 year old said hmm I like em ( thats huge from him)

Awww lol thank you! I think ANY compliment from boys that age would be great...I can't picture my little cousins (same ages) every saying anything nice like that!

Yes I'm going to try and sell them...I made about 10-15 pairs of overalls so far and transformed about 5-10 onesies into little dresses.

I'll definately keep you in mind in a few weeks when I have to get some gifts for a friend.

do you do anything for babies?

Awwww...well so far I've only attempted up to a size 4T (or possibly 5T) the bigger the size the harder it is to maneuver with the sewing machine but I'll keep you in mind if I go up a little higher with my sizes...I'm still learning

well, hes a premie, weighing only 3 pounds, so anything teeny tiny.

(I'm really bad with baby sizes, sorry)

Omg how itty bitty! I don't have anything that small right now...the smallest one I made so far (3-6 mos) I gave to one of my little cousins when they were born.
