Something I want

Something I want

So I really want to go to a wedding!!! LOL I know that this sounds funny, and I have been to them before but...there really arent any that I will be invited to in the upcoming future. We are the first couple out of all of our friends to be getting married...and being that I am engaged I want to go to them, to get different ideas, and be able to compare. The next one that I know of definatly is not until next March...does anyone else feel like I do???

I haven't been there since I booked, but I am always tempted to go there because its 5 minutes from work, so I could even go during lunch if I wanted to.

It's great to go to weddings especially when you are engaged, but FH and I have been to 5 since August and we have another one coming up in June. When you are trying to save for you own wedding it can be tough when you have to go to all these weddings and spend so much on a wedding gift. On top of that I had to go to 3 showers out of the 5 weddings we were invited to.

I've only been to 2 weddings and I was in the wedding party both times! This site is great though, it's giving me so many ideas. I'm looking to book at the VIP Country Club too!! The people there were the nicest out of all the places I looked. I would love to hear people's comments before I book...good and bad??

Re: Something I want

my friend got married last year so whenever i went to weddings i started seeing things in a new light so i could report back to her.
i have 2 weddings coming up, 1 is FH's good friend and the other is an old hight school friend of mine. The only thing that stinks about me planning my wedding and going to others is im going to be more judgemental and critical of other peoples wedding ideas.

but yea screw it.....wedding crashers lets go!

I felt like that, and I still do now! To me it's more exciting going to weddings once you're engaged because you get to picture how it'll be on your day! Everything becomes more meaningful, it's like you can relate to the bride and groom more
