from what i hear SIB doesnt negotiate, you can always trythough but just letting you know from other girls ive seen on here who tried.

I would say go with what you feel comfortable with. Its your decision and you have to live with it...Would you rather spend an extra $5000 towards a photographer or do you think you'd be better off keeping the $5000

Here is a QUOTE from an e-mail between me and SIB:

'In general, our prices are not negotiable. Please remember that you are
getting two, full-time professional photographers.'

The only thing he was willing to do was waive the tax if I paid in cash.

Jess, you got to be kidding. They sure are very cocky and not very nice. And they cost a lot of $$$$$

Well, I'm still deciding and I can't go to sleep. Hope I some relief over this soon.

Sadly, I'm not kidding. This is a major part of the reason I didn't book with them. It was just a weird thing to say off the bat (because I hadn't even tried to really NEGOTIATE yet - I just asked if there would be tax if I paid cash, which I really don't consider a negotiation about the fee itself).

Sadly, I'm not kidding. This is a major part of the reason I didn't book with them. Also, check out my photographer - Kenny Pang. He shoots in a style similar to SIB/Angelica Glass, and even with an album you're going to come in at least $1,000 cheaper than SIB.

well i dont think it was meant to be cocky. See photographers that work for themselves and not big companies dont have a big company funding them. They have to pay for all equipment, materials themselves so it works differently. People who are interested in hiring photographers that are self employed need to remember this. And when they said to remember theres two of them, they meant that you can't expect to pay the price of one photographer, they both work equally in this.

They cost a little more because they come with two photogs...both of which are amazing artists.
