Something interesting happened last night that the WM

So, last night was our 2 month mark and the night we choose our menu. We decided to have dinner there as well since we had a gc that was about to expire.

the WM has a live lounge singer performing every night (he is really quite good). Anyhoo, as we were eating dessert, he says to fh and I...hey you over there, we take requests (we were seated at the far corner of the rest.) and performed one or two songs.

then, I hear a song that breaks my heart. The music for Frank Sinatra's 'Summer Wind' the very song I would have danced with my grandfather with at my wedding had he not passed away in August. I had been thinking about how to incorporate this song into my wedding still, as it was very important to me to hear it playing there. The very next song was Elvis 'Can't Help Falling in Love'...the first song fh ever dedicated to me...

I don't know, it may seem silly, but it just made me feel like it was 'right' and that maybe Grandpa had made a little request for me...just to show me how much he is still with me..

sorry this is long...I've just been sad lately...so this made me feel a little better.
