I feel pretty good too. I have a lot to do this week, but they aren't BIG things - putting gift bags together, printing placecards (seating arrangements are done!), boxing up all items for hall - but I've got a handle on it, I think.

I *do not* have a handle on my laundry or dirty apartment, however. Maybe by the weekend I will ...

hahaha i hope that is how i feel as it gets closer....i figure that i really want to get everything done by Nov 5 - that way i have 1 month to relax - but i know its not going to happen like that

There are some things you just cannot do untiul the week before. Like bring things to the hall, print placecards (unless you have ALL your rsvps by nov 5, I didn't know for sure who was coming until last weekend, 3 weeks after my rsvp due date), bring OOT bags to the hotel (if you are doing that), make your final payment (you need to let your hall know your final number before you get an amount due ...) -- it kinda stinks but that's the way it goes. Hope you are more successful than me!

yeah those things have to wait - but i have other things to do like book limos , do the table numbers, do another make up trial, pick up our wedding bands, make programs if we decide on them, finish bridal party gifts, get a veil there is a lot more, i just cant think of it right now! hahaha im such a procrastinator haha

Oh Jenn, once again we are in the exact same situation. I boxed everything up for the RH, finished the votive placecards last night, designed the program, just need to print, but our apartment is an embarassment, it hasn't been really cleaned in weeks
Also haven't done a thing with my clothes for the honeymoon either.

It's almost like a Zen like feeling.. a month of the wedding, I was done with everything, final fittings and payments and of course seating arrangements were it.. and the seating arrangements and the people calling in and out last minute killed it..

i was just thinking this!

thats a good thing!!

just get all your diy and seating stuff done the week before u need to bring it to the RH. That stuff killed me at the end, but once it was done i was fine.
