Something new I found out when I went to photog to pick up pics

Well went to get my extra's (prints I had ordered) yesterday and while I was waiting I had seen this new album style they are now showing. Now it might of been there before but I was never shown it or it could be new but it's exactly what I plan to do after we get our prints on cd and our traditional album is completed.

It's a book who's layout is done in a very artistic showcase manner. I LOVE IT! So happy to see it being offered because to me (this is my style/opinion) that is what an album should be if your doing a magazine style. To me leave traditional albums traditional and 'magazine' like this book style.

Hardcover book with matching slip jacket (kinda what you would get from kodak, snapfish,etc) with the inside full spreads of pictures some overlapping but not over done just a great design. If Patken actually designed this book and it's not a manufacturer sample I applaud them because it's timeless. Reminds me of the countless art books I have on my shelf.

So figured to tell you girls who still haven't done their album order yet (because you can change it) and check it out. It's worth to see for ideas. I can't wait to get our damn album order in so i can get the damn cd to do this style.

did they tell you that you get the cd 6 months after you pick up the album? I feel like it keeps getting longer and longer. I thought that they said you get the cd 6 months after you place the album order. They should just let you pick everything up at once so annoying! I want to do my thank you's already!!

yea its rather silly in my mind I purchase extra pics for the album then ordered a ton of extra prints (just my family pics that they wanted right away) so it's like your done with me right? Give me the damn freaking cd so I can start working on my other album.

When I get the proof I am asking them again - they told me six months after you submit the album order (i had thought the meaning of submit album order is when I gave them the pics of what i wanted in the album picked the color,etc) but it is when you finalized the album and its ready to print. Hopefully next week I get the first proof!

Seriously that album style kicks butt!

I absolutely love Patkens photo albums!!! I am hoping that my photographer has those ideas...I dont know what the format of their albums is called.
