i still dunno.

i have the new (my dress) and my blue (going to be my under garments)

i was thinking of borrowing my future cousins' veil but its not going to match my dress so i'm back to square one. i think i'm going to ask my mom for something old and my FMIL for something borrowed. get the family connection going. lol

My grandmother is giving me her beaded hanker that she used when she got married. She had passed it to my mother and now it's being passed to me!

Re: SOMETHING OLD!!!!

I wore a pearl necklace that had been my grandmother's and then my mother's (both passed away before the wedding so it was extra meaningful for me). but I actually didn't get so into the whole tradition. I guess my dress was 'something new', but I didn't have anything blue or borrowed.

I wore DHs grandmothers bracelet as my something borrowed, and my something old was my garter-it was made of MIL wedding dress

The whole wedding planning process was too stressful so I didn't bother with it but it is a nice tradition thing to do

My something 'old' will be my Mother's veil that I have beaded. My 'borrowed' a peice of jewelry from my Nana and 'blue' will be the undies!

Re: SOMETHING OLD!!!!

My friend had a good idea that she did...she pinned her parents wedding bands to the silk wrapping on her bouquet. It made for great pictures and was very special to her!

Re: SOMETHING OLD!!!!

I'm wearing my grandmas engagment ring as my something old. She gave it to me cause it doesn't fit her anymore. She had such a great relationship with my grandpa that i believe it will be good luck. Something borrowed??? I am not sure yet. So far everything else about my outfit is new....hmmm

Re: SOMETHING OLD!!!!

my something old was a mother of pearl prayer book - it belonged to my great granmother. Every bride on my mother's side since her has carried it down the aisle. You can see it in theis picture:

I also wore a dinner ring that was my grandmother's.
