no it wasnt lol. i just figured bc its the only thing im wearing that wont be worn for the first time. i cant think of anything else?

I was given a bracelet that was my great grandmothers quite a few years ago. I'm wearing that.

I'm sure you can use your ring. I doubt the 'wedding gods' are going to think badly of you - lol.

my somthing old is a hanky that was a hat that i wore when my parents took me home from the hospital when i was a baby...or maybe it was my christening hat? lol i dunno, there was a whole poem and story behind it and my mom gave it to me for my shower.

My Aunt made me an ankle bracelet out of some of my great-grandmother's old costume jewelry, and added my grandmother's baby locket to it. It also has some blue swarovski crystals, so it can also be my something blue!

I was having problems in this department too.

BUT

I askd my mom if she had any old handkershifs that were my dads or anything from my christening, communion, prom, whatever....

Turns out she has my christening bonnet that has an irish blessing sewed in...so we will get the seamstress to sew it into the crinoline of my dress.
