Something Old, New, Borrowed, Blue...

So what is everyone doing to fit this saying?

I am sure that I will fill these categories with time, im not sure how many of you have thought about this yet..
Old - Great Grandmothers Pearl Necklace
New - Pair of red stilettos for day of
Borrowed - mothers locket for boq charm
Blue - blue panties with 'mrs. collins' on tush - i am going to make him search me for the something blue the day of

old - something of my aunts. she died in october and her husband said hes giving me a peice of her jewelry to wear on my wedding day


new - my dress, headpeice all that.

borrowed- no idea


blue- shoes. and theres blue in my gown

Old - Grandmothers Diamond Pendant

New - My Dress, shoes, and earrings

Borrowed - Grandmothers Diamond Pendant, unless someone lends me something so the pendant doesnt have to serve double duty

Blue - custom label in my dress that says our married name and date

Old - A slip that both my grandma day, and my aunt wore on their wedding day.

New - Everything I'll be wearing! (dress, shoes, underwear, jewelry, hair pieces)

Borrowed - Technically my slip is both old and borrowed.

Blue - My DOJ and my underwear (which actually say 'Something blue' on the butt. )

I have no idea! I am sure my new will be everything I am wearing that day

Old and borrowed: I don't know. I really don't have anything being passed down to me.. maybe I can get something from my moh since she was just married in Oct.

Blue: I will make it easy and buy blue underwear

idk either...i figure i have some time. so much will be new, so that's taken care of. for the rest, we'll see

old- i don't know
new- dress, headpiece, etc.
borrowed- my sister's garter
blue- my DOJ- sapphires, sapphires, sapphires!!

old-not sure yet
new-my wedding band (I dont know just throwin that one out there)
borrowed-my friends shoes that she used for her wedding
blue-hmm dunno yet...

Old -- My Grandmother's Wedding Band (will be my band)
New -- Dress, shoes, veil
Borrowed -- My Mom's pave' diamond heart pendant
Blue -- Yankee's Panties and garter

i haven't figured all of it out yet, but..



there is actually a fifth line to the tradition-

'and a six-pence for your shoe'. for wealth

Some people put a penny in their shoe to complete it ... fun fact hahaa
