Something slightly 'different' for invites

I ordered my invites this weekend, and instead of the traditional 'Mr and Mrs. Paul Bunyon' request the honour, I decided to do it a tad different. My mom NEVER refers to herself (nor does my dad refer to her) as Mrs. Paul Bunyon, so we're not having the Mr and Mrs. AND to honor our mothers we decided to list our moms first. So, it's Gail and Paul Bunyon request the Honour....son of Joan and John Revere. Just an idea for those looking to honor those fab moms out there! (but doesn't slight the all important dads either!)

Re: Something slightly 'different' for invites

I did the same..

particularly cause my parents are divorced and my mom is remarried.. if I did it the traditional way-- my mom's name would not be on the invite at all!!
