You are correct - this does happen! Funny when you see something like shampoo or a candy bar show up on your registry.
Yes, this happens a lot at BB&B.
Someone may also have bought them for you. I had things appear on my registry that I didn't register for. If someone buys you a gift that isn't on your registry, it appears on yor registry as requested 0, purchased 1. If you don't wat them, just return them.
same thing happend with my his grandparent got us a nice lenox dish it just appered on the registry?????
when i registered at BBB the other nite--the girl told me that if you find things on your registry that you didn't put there---just leave it. lol she said that the situation like the other ladies could happen OR it could be that someone might have had your registry, bought something for YOU off the registry, and made sure to put it on your registry. (did that make sense? LOL) they encourage people to do this at BBB since that way there is no need for a gift receipt--as your registry is your receipt.
