Something to help AF come regular?

Something to help AF come regular?

Is there a pill, like birth control, to help regulate me but it is not preventing pregnancy? Last month was 32 days, this month I am up to 36 days (took a test, it was negative). I just went off the pill in October but was always irregular before going on the pill 5 years ago.

Any advise?

Thanks,
Tracy

My sister-in-law told me that a friend of hers went on Chasteberry (sp?) - a vitamin and it regulated her and she was pregnant within 3 months.

P.S. Her Chiropractor is the one who told her about it.

I used Provera once and most people who get irregular (missed periods) usually get on it. It is not birth control, but they will not give it to you unless your are not getting your period at all.

When I used to be more active in college sports I used to go months w/o AF, so my Gyn prescribed it. You do not need it. Longer cycles does not require Provera, missing periods gets Provera. I had a long cycle this time as well 42 days. I must do some search on that

Question: What are irregular periods? How do I know if I have them?

Answer: Menstrual cycles that vary more than a few days in length from month to month are considered irregular. Most menstrual cycle intervals occur about every four weeks, with the normal range between 24 and 35 days. To measure your menstrual cycle, start counting from the first day of your last period and stop counting on the first day of your next period. Don't worry if you have one or two irregular cycles; Occasionally all women have variations. True irregularity persists over several months so if you do notice wide fluctuations in your cycle, speak to your doctor about it.

I went on the internet and found some information about this. It doesn't sound bad, it can't hurt, right??

Shamma, thank you for your hard work and research. I will surf around that site for awhile.

When I was 19 I was going away but AF was scheduled to come the day I left. A week before the trip my friends mom gave me 6 tablets of Humphreys 11 and it came that day. I think they sell it in Vitamin stores
