something to ponder (invite invisible pen related)

I tried to explain to FH the concept of invisible pens for the RSVP cards. He asked if it's invisible, why can't we just write the name, instead of going through all the trouble of keeping a list of the guests with their #'s? Why didn't we ever think of that??

just remember the & Guest people...maybe leave those so the person can fill in the guests name.

While i agree with him, he is apparently more clever than all of us, I like the # b/c it's shorter to write.

I pondered this also - and thought maybe it was because sometimes you could see the imprint from the pen, and the number is smaller so it would be less noticeable if you pushed too hard.

But - I haven't used them and was purely trying to justify the number thing in my head, so I'll probably write out their names too LOL.

I'm a very argumentative person and thought of ways to refute what he said and there was just no way around it, he was right! I stand defeated, well sat since we were in the car.
