So I know there are better things to complain about but I wanted to vent about something trivial...

I got a MEGA pimple 2 weeks ago on my cheek and after messing with it, I now have a dark spot in the middle of my face! Normally, I wouldn't care, but my engagement pictures are 2 weeks away! I am applying Mederma Gel constantly. Supposedly, Mederma is 'fast acting'.
I don't want to wear heavy make-up (to cover the dark spot) to the e-session because it's hot as heck out there!

I think that in 2 weeks you should be fine!! That's a lot of time... the most a derm will do is give you something to put on it, definitely go and see what they say but I wouldn't worry too much!

I would go to the derm as well...they can give you an injection that will make it disappear in 2 days.

how about a good counselor, choose a color tone closest to yours
