something very sweet...

!I went to my parents house for dinner on Friday and we looked through old pictures. I found so many of my parents wedding day (which was very low key) well I was very excited to see my moms dress was all lace as well!

I also found really old pics (like 1930's/40's ) from my grandpa to my grandma when he was in the military. I found their wedding photos & my grandma's dress was all lace too

And finally I found my godfathers wedding thank you and we are getting married on the same day as they did back in 1967
I don't know it was just comforting and it made everything that much more special I started tearing up and so did my mom.

As you know I am getting married on my parents wedding anniversary but, after I finally choose my colors I looked through my mom's album and saw that she used the same colors.

Can you have the lace added to the end of your veil? Are you doing a cathedral veil?

Thats true, ask her. I thought we had my grandma's dress and was going to put a piece of it in my dress to have something old.

HAHA I tried on I guess a finger tip veil wait is that the one that falls down to your fingertips?? IT didnt look right it made me look like dare I say it an oompa loompa Just made me look short!

My FSIL used a piece of her mothers dress and a piece of MOG's dress and did a hand blessing/ hand tying ceremony. It was beautiful. She also took a piece of the material from the BP's dress and made sashes with all of them. I can get you more info if you like. Just fm me to remind me!!

Yeah, I tried on a cathedral veil and it didnt do that. I guess a fingertip veil kind of cuts you in half, know what I mean? Then you look shorter than you are.
