I only asked one of my BMs to come with me tonight to try on BM dresses, bc i didn't want 10 different opinions at the same time. Honestly, and i'm sure this makes me sound like a *****, but I don't want any opinions. I just want a body to put them on so that I can choose the one I like. Now, BM's facebook status says 'can't wait to try on BM dresses with Maria tonight' ... so my phone won't stop ringing with complaning BMs....
Do you guys typically bring al the BMs with you to try on dresses?
P.S. I can't even get on Facebook right now for some reason, which is also very annoying!

I won't be asking all my bm to come with me. They typically say only bring 2 other people with you.
I've gone with my mom already but i'll be bringing one of my bm's to be the impartial decision giver.

I would bring them because all of my BMs have different body types and what might look GREAT on one might look HORRIBLE on the other, but I only have 3 BM'S and an MOH (but she lives in FL)..JMO

Yeah, you're kind of in a pickle there. You gotta make sure that if you're doing something with someone that you don't want people to know about, tell them to keep it on the DL and don't mention it on FB! This is spoken from experience - we've all been there with this, I'm sure!
When we went for my best friend's wedding, all of the girls went together, and she had a few ideas on mind about the type of dress she wanted us to get. Two of us tried on about 15 different dresses, then we narrowed it down to two dresses - then the other girls who weren't playing 'model the pretty dresses' tried on those two and voila, we had a winner. I swear, all of that was done in about two hours.
I have a small BP - just my sister and best friend, and I'm planning on having them both there for the shopping. They also both have very different body types, so they'll probably get different style dresses.
Oh did she know the others weren't invited? Could have been an innocent mistake. If not I'd make sure u tell her next time not to put something up. When I went the first time I just went me and my MOH. Mainly because I work retail/most weekends and all my BMs have a different schedules..

ahh this is what i am trying to figure out.
I really want to just go with my sister (moh) but i know FSIL wants to go and so I think I might just not tell anyone and initially go with my sister and once we narrow it down to a few then i can tell all the other girls and see who i can get together (i have 9 girls total and some are OOT) to try those few on.

She knew it was just the two of us going... but I don't think she did it intentionally... I just don't think she thought it was a big deal... i didn't think it was a big deal either but some of the other BMs feel left out... I guess i can understand that

I had all my girls try the dress on that I picked out that is part of the fun of being a BM ,is trying on dresses and my girls could not wait to go, the first time I only bought my sister, mom and one other girl the second and third they all came and found a dress everyone feels good in!!!

Its definitely hard ...... I have 7 BMs and I know they all want to go, but i think im going to just bring my sister and maybe FSIL.

So here's the thing. My girlfriend took all her bridesmaid to try on dresses and then ended up choosing one that no one had tried and just going with it.
I on the other hand took my sister (MOH) and she tried on a bunch. I had one most fav dress and a fall back and sent out an email to all the girls basically saying this is the one I want is it ok otherwise here's the fallback but I don't like it as much. And everyone was fine with it!

i had this problem. My moh has a different work schedule so she couldn't go with me so I wanted to bring just one bm but then she told another and i ended going with 3 girls. It helps if you tell them ahead of time that its just you and her.

I brought my 2 sisters and FSIL to try on dresses the first time. Between the three of them, they helped pick out the dress. Next week, I'm bringing 3 more of my girls to try on the dress we picked out to make sure it'll look ok on them too. But I would NEVER bring them all at once....that's way too many.

Some people facebook status about everything that goes on in their life. Is she one of them?
My friend wants her whole bridal party to go and actually pick out dresses and then try them on. I cant even go because my dads receiving an award that night but to me I would rather be told what dress I am wearing or be giving the opinion of like 2 or 3 dresses to choose from.

I brought all but one, she was sick... i wanted to make sure they all felt comfortable in the dress...we all agreed on the dress and its makes me so happy that they love it too.
I had 9 bms..... thought it might be too many opinions, but they really were great!
