I overheard FH talking to his Mom about the menu for the next day brunch, so I open an IM window and said:
Me: its interesting that you'd consult your mom about the brunch menu and not me
Me: are you 2 getting married?
FH: shut ur pie hole
we already discussed this stuff
you wanted to make it 12
so people could check out
Me: no your cuz susan wanted to make it 12
i told you that
but you're discussing MENU with your new bride
it's fine, i'll lend her my dress, she can wear it as a scarf
And then he called me in his office and I continued to refer to his Mom and his new bride. I get waaaay too much pleasure out of making fun of him and his Mom. I made my own day with my scarf comment.![]()
