Sometimes people can be so considerate!

I'm missing a ton of RSVPs and my 'deadline' was yesterday.

Anyway, I had one particular couple decline. I came home yesterday and there was a box in my hallway. It was a present from them. They really didnt have to...

People really go out of their way sometimes. I thought I'd share this with you guys because I know some of you are having issues with people not replying etc.

Just know that there are people out there that do think of you.

thanks donna it is nice to here the good things people do.. bc lately I feel like we are all complaining how rude people have been :)

I hear ya. I think quite a few of us have been down in the dumps lately with how people have been acting towards us.

I was so hurt by someone earlier on this summer that I didnt even bother sending her an invite to my wedding. I washed my hands clean of her.

Now I have to see her at a baby shower 2 weeks after my wedding.

Aww that was really sweet of them . My deadline is the 31st and i have a few that haven't replied but screw em i didn't care either way if they came since they have acted so petty before.

I've had a few no's thru emails and people telling me they lost the invite. Fine.
But the worst was this girl i thought was my 'friend'. I couldnt believe her.....never again will I EVER do anything for her. I felt so used.

Oh and I forgot to add, she said in a very kurt manner after we had had our disagreement 'your shower gift will be in the mail'

It wasnt said from the heart. Thats what really hurt me.

LOL well it wasnt a physical gift. She sent me a card with some cash in it & a note that said 'good luck'. I would have LOVED a gift! Something small, a shower curtain, a christmas tree ornament...etc. Didnt even have to send it to me. Could have given it to me whenever...but I guess people dont think like that sometimes.

It was just cold lolol

You are so right. Believe me. I think they're called fairweather friends. Only come around when things will benefit them. I should have known from jump how this person was. Many times asking me for rides places, only calling me during when she needed something...i can go on and on....

When they do this though you dont think they are like that because you truly feel that they are your friends. Ugh i can't stand people like that bunch of users.

Yup.

I think this just happens as you get older. You become wiser and a better judge of character. I wish I knew what I know now...
