Somewhat NWR: Other Boards

I was curious about other boards, so I checked one out (not going to say which) and the girls on there were doing nothing but bashing each other! The hot topic was a 'cash bar'. Girls were actually telling each other to 'f off'!! Lot of help that site was.

I have used that site, and whenever I posted a question, ALWAYS got negetive reponses!

Wow..I never used the knot.com, I'm LIW loyal!!

Whats the deal over there at that site? Why would they all be so unsupportive?

There are alway negative things being said on that board. i think some of those people are not brides...just bored and need to make fun of other people for entertainment.

I think the LI local site is ok, the 'regular' chat site that is open to everyone is kind of strange. The whole site is not very user friendly.

I am a loyal LIW girl. I USE theknot.com. USE them. I go through the bio's and shamelessly look and 'steal' ideas. But I don't bother to chat. Not as homey as LIW!!!

I just went there and found the thread 'Cash bar'. Horrible!

Also--you are right, the site isnt user friendly and the posts are in such a small font & are so hard to read. I didnt realize how good we
had it here untill I looked over there!

I love the LIW boards!!

In defense of theknot.com, I have not found the New York boards to be catty, at all. I don't bother with the other boards, though; they're just mean sometimes for no reason.

Although I am new at posting but was an avid post viewer ...i have seen this board get CATTY hence why I didn't post for sometime.....Anytime you add stress and opinions it could get quite insane LOL
