if u have an invite that has a bow across the front.. should the bow not cover any of the words? or is it expected that the invitee will just untie the bow?
i'm working on my invites.. i'll try to post a pic to show what i mean... but all of the ones i've found online have the bow covering some words... well not all but many.. and i'm wondering if it's okay if the bow covers some wording...

Re: somewhat of a silly/stupid question...
i need to see pics. Is the bow meant to be untied or is it supposed to be permanent on the invite?

Ditto on seeing some pics. Does the bow have a functional purpose, like it connects two pieces of the invitation together? That might be OK.
If it's just for show and needs to be untied to see words, I must admit that doesn't make much sense.
Pics would be helpful.

I am using gatefold invitations. Vellum paper folds over the invitation inside and the ribbon is tied around so that it remains closed. The ribbon covers some writing, but I just assumed people would undo the bow.
