So...my dress is finally in BUT.......

Yay! I was so excited - I got the call that my dress is in BUT then I get, we have an opening for June 20 for a fitting.......uh - hello, my wedding is JULY 4!!!! I think I need to get in there a little earlier than that!
GRRRR.....vent!

That is plenty of time to get fitted. You do not want to go in much earlier cause even if you are not trying you will probably drop weight from the final stress and then the alterations just have to be re-done. I did all mine in a week.

i just picked up my dress today anll altered..... i'm so afraid i'm going to need to get it taken in the week before since it is so close to being too big
i have a goal to gain 10 lbs before july

I understand your frustration but would say that you should be fine. I was still losing weight so waited until about 3 weeks before and am supposed to go try it on again this weekend....giving me over a week to have any last minute adjustments. Try not to fret.
