SON OF A BIATCH!!!!!!!!

I know this was posted before but i spent two hours in linens and things a month ago putting things on my registry!!!!!!!!!!!! I could SCREAM!!!!!!!!!!! It was fun at the time but i really don't want to do it again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe their going out of business!!!! What bs is that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was hoping it wasn't true!!!!!!

Thats terrible.. But they said that they were filing bankruptcy like 5-6 months ago.. why would you register there?

I have a few different stores that i registered at just p@ssed cause i wasted two hours there and found some cute stuff. Maybe i'll have to go on a shopping spree for myself!!!!

bring your LNT registry into BBB and they will transfer it over for you so you dont have to. then you can look at the list and modify it if you want

I didn't know they were closing. I was apprehensive about Fortunoffs because they just went through bankruptcy and I just heard Bloomingdales is in bad shape. My parent's friend is a manager there and he said its so bad they are not hiring anyone additional for the Christmas season. Lines of stuff are getting discontinued to as companies downsize... happened with my dishes and sheets. In this economy its going to e a rough time with registering.

I decided to close my fortunoff registry and switch everything to Macys/BBB instead, so I brought a copy of my registry to BBB and they transferred all of my china over for me. I enjoyed registering so DH and I took our printed out registry and shopped around again with the scanner using our old registry as a guide.

they are happy to have your business and will do it for you if you dont want to

Jodie, it really is frustrating!!!! Donna registered too, at Linens N Things, recently, and just got an e-mail re: the liquidation. However, when I saw one BTB had posted about using your GC, I told Donna, and she called our local store, and was told GC's could be used through the holidays. I think Donna went to Linens last night, to use her GC. Debi wondered it 'Bed, Bath, and Beyond, associated w/Linens, is also going at of business' I didn't GOOGLE to check that out, but, locally, Linens is the best place to shop, so we will really miss it!!!! I suggested to Donna that she might want to register at Kohls or Penneys. Mary MOB

Lord and Taylor announced awhile ago that they were planning on buying LNT's but the deal fell through. I think that it why a lot of people felt safe to register there.

I know it totally *****....

I was in LNT on Friday....they weren't excepting any gift cards or coupons and weren't even accepting people's LNT credit cards. There really weren't any good sales yet...everything was 10%, some bedding was 20% and a select few things were 30%....
