Is the beatles song 'In My LIfe' inappropriate as a first dance song?
I get mixed reviews when I look it up, some saying its a beautiful love song and others saying the complete opposite..thoughts?

That song has always struck me as very sad, like something you would feel at the end of a relationship.

UGH FHs dont know anything.. Fh wants to play Bon Jovi .. Always! okay, its a great song but its about him cheating on a girl and begging to get her back.. not going to happen at my wedding lol

I think its a great father/daughter song but not a great song for a first dance...jmo.

Agreed! There's just something so sad about it ... about an era ending or something ... makes sense for a daddy/daughter song definitely but I don't know about for a first dance song!

I agree with the other ladies...it is a great song for a mother/son or father/daughter dance, but I think there are so many better choices of songs for you out there.
