It's interesting you should ask about using a song with lyrics and not even have an idea of what song, because I have the opposite issue: I DO have a song I want to use, but it has lyrics and that's kind of turning me off from using it. There's a song that I love and really was important to me the first 2 months FH and I were dating (it's by a band called the Reindeer Section from Scontland) and I am kind of hesitant because I've never seen someone walk down the aisle to a song with lyrics. I was actually thinking of asking some of my friends (who are in a band) to try to record it as an instrumental for me, with an acoustic guitar and piano. You have me thinking, though, that maybe it's okay to just use the song. Back to your question, though - do you have any songs in mind? I know I've heard of a bride using 'In My Life' by the Beatles for her processional.
By the way, I was really thinking of using 'I Do I Do I Do I Do' for the recessional as we run back up the aisle. It's upbeat and fun and I think it would be perfect!

VERY interesting I guess it doesnt necessarily HAVE to have lyrics, I was just looking for something 'different'.
Our recessional won't have lyrics, so Im already breaking the consistency rules...
I just thought there may be a nice song out there that might have words...
Just hunting for ladies with ideas!

Hmm, that made me think of the Magnetic Fields' 'It's Only Time' - I don't know if you'd go for his voice, but I love it, and think the words are pretty:

I am using three very unique songs
Canon in D (jerryc from youtube version) yes the rock version.. i have link if anyone wants it.. you can just put jerryc in the search
