songs for the church

i am having some problems re picking out selections for the church

i have a section called prelude and i have no idea what to put down for that as well as the gospel
any clue i have no idea what i am doing!

During my unity candle lighting my good friend sang 'His Eye is on the Sparrow' and it was so moving and so beautiful.

There is one line that goes 'I sing, because I'm happy. I sing, because I'm free.' It made me break down and cry sooo much at my wedding. If you know of someone with a beautiful singing voice, I'd recommend hearing that song and considering it.

Also, the person responsible for providing the church music (ie organist, choir director, church singer, DJ, etc) should be able to give you lists of songs over the phone and even sing or play clips of them. My guy did this for me and the whole phone call took no more then 15 mins.
