SonicStef or other scrapbookers!

Ok so I want to make a scrapbook from the day we met to the wedding as a wedding gift to FH. I want to do some pages by hand, but I want to do others on photoshop.

Now what kind of scrapbook do I buy and where do I buy it from. I don't know the first thing about the right paper.

I'd like something small, like 5x7 size or something close to that.

Also, the pages that I do on the computer - how do I get them in the book .. just a gluestick?

Any help would be great!!!

Check your local craft store or scrapbook store for albums. And here is a link to online stores I got from a magazine. There are all different sized albums to choose from.

List of Online Album Stores

You want all paper to be acid/lingen free. What ever they are, will eventually damage the photos over time.

You could use a glue stick, glue dots or double stick tape to put the computer pages into the book. Again, just check that they are photo safe.

Your FH is going to love this

You can buy scrapbooks at Michaels or the few scrapbook stores on LI. As far as glueing them in the book, you must make sure that the paper and glue you use is acid free. That will ensure that your book last for a long time and will not fade of ruin the pictures. You can check out CreatingKeepsakes.com for more tips for beginners. They are a great resource. They will have many suggestions on types of adhesives, embellishments and papers. I go there often to read up on the newest things!

You said you wanted a 5x7, Michaels had a great selection of different sizes.
Let me know if you need anymore info. I hope I helped some!
Good Luck!

Michael's does have great scrapbooks. If you are in NYC there are some great stores with scrapbooking supplies like Kate's, Paper Access, etc.

I find the best way to get pages into a book is with spray adhesive.. it's pretty good stuff.
