I saw you're going to Italy for your honeymoon as well. We spoke to a travel agent a few weeks ago and now the guy is avoiding us. I was wondering who you used? We're looking for someone who might specialize in Italy.

I used an American Express travel agent who was recommended to me. She doesn't specialize in Italy but she is very sweet and if you use an AMEX card to book the trip you get an extra few bucks off.


We knew we wanted to book a Trafalgar tour before I even spoke with her. She had a few other options for us which were also good but not as good as the tour we had already chosen. She is not an Italy expert but she seemed knowledgeable.

The best part was that we did all of our communication through the phone and fax. I didn't want to have to run to midtown for everything so that was a big plus for me.
