I know it takes a while for a Sonyma mortgage to be approved, but what I would like to know if that for the girls that got approved did you need to get an extension on your contract or was your loan approved within the days it stated in the contract. My contract says i have 45 days to get a mortgage. Its that average????

Yes, I used to work there. There shouldn't be a need for an extension, just tell your bank to keep calling their loan servicer at SONYMA and they should do it quickly. Each loan reviewer gets about 4 a day, split among 6 reviewers, the turn around time on SONYMA is good, the problems come when your bank does not fill out the required dox.
