SOO

Last night FH and I went to a showcase at our venue with Fh has never seen. He hated it. We are already book and are invites have been ordered. The reason he never was that we have fallin in love with another venue but being that my father is paying for the wedding and didn't like it I had to find a new place. Fh refused to continue looking and told me to find a place on my own. Well I did and i really loved my venue until yesterday. this totally suc ks!!!!

Sorry Just need to vent!

What does he hate so much about it?! Or is he just being pissy because he didn't get the venue he wanted?

Oh wow...I'm sorry he didnt like it. Just remind him- its your day together to celebrate your marriage. As long as you two have fun, and the people you love are there- thats all that matters!!

i wouldn't worry too much about it ... it'll look soooo much better for your wedding than it did for the showcase!

So sorry FH does not like your hall!

But...he did tell you to find a place on your own, so tell him it's his fault, he should have come with you. And your RH looks very nice in pics online....why doesn't FH like it? Is there something you can maybe do to it to make him like it better?

He thinks that the bars are too small that the cocktail hours room set up is strange b/c its an l shaped room and he thinks the reception room in way to small and that poeple views are going to be blocked by these 2 suppot beams the have to 1 side of the room. Mind you I wasn't planning on putting a table behind it.

Oh nooooo!!! I'm sorry to hear that!!! I bet he wont even think about it on your big day and it will be beautiful!!!!

I booked ours based on word of mouth (im in IL) and when I saw it for the first time in April I hated ours too! I still kinda do, We are 3 deposits invested. I'm sure I will love it on the day of (unless they goof up, its small and they have 3 weddings booked on my day!). FH has been looking on the bright side, so that helps! Hopefully you can stay on the bright side (being that YOU love it) and he will come around!
