Try a temp agency. They have a lot of temp to hire job so if the job likes you they will take you on permanently. I have had a number of friends that went this route and now love their job.

Have you tried looking in your local hospital? They usually ahve an area that they post jobs on & usually the post in the board before they post anywhere else. Worth a shot for an admin job. Local Dr's office anything.
