so tonight we met Jay from Cakes by Jay! he was sooo sweet! and cool!!! we asked him about cakes and so we are going to go with him for our cake! i am soo excited I really love his work he just doesn't make the cakes but he makes the look soo beautiful!! i can't wait I wasn't really expecting to get a cake from an outside baker but FH really wants a cake and tonight we made our decision!! sorry I had to share because I am soo happy! ok i'm done

depending on the design and how much work he is from $5-8 dollars a per person

We are using him too. We met with him awhile back. His cakes can get up there in price depending on what you want. We are over $10 per slice but I think he is well worth it.

yea!!! he told us!! we are going to finalize with everything by the summer so i won't know a price til then FH is sketching the cake! so i can't wait!!

We are just getting a cake with cascading flowers but we are having him use gumpaste flowers so thats what jacks the price up because they are all handmade. We went for a tasting there and it was awesome.

Yeah Gloria! We saw him at the showcase, and FH was like 'Oh that is really nice'. I said, 'Yeah remember him from food network?' And he says, 'Yup. Lets move on.' FH figured it would be too pricey since he was on TV.
