I know there is something in the works. I think the restaurant called Pompei's has been picked but that is all I know.

Pompei's is on Hempstead Ave. in West Hempstead. Its a nice place.

Nope...we didnt want anyone 'in charge' this got to be trouble when we first started planning...so a couple of girls have done soe research and posted everything to take suggestions..that way nobody feels left out!

Nope...we didnt want anyone 'in charge' this got to be trouble when we first started planning...so a couple of girls have done soe research and posted everything to take suggestions..that way nobody feels left out!

Maybe there should be a few people in charge, though, because we picked a restaurant, possibly picked a date, and nothing else. We need a bit more organization. The year is half over already, we don't want to run out of options because time is getting cut short.

We all plan a shower for ourselves so we can get to meet each other, party, give gifts, play games, etc.

yeah i think that a good idea to have someone in charge!

It seems like Colleen and Tina are doing a lot.... I think everyone is afraid of officially saying 'I'll be in charge' because of what happened last time.

To be honest, I think its working very well the way we have it set up. They already have tons of vendors donating stuff... I'd say the only thing left to do is the secret bride thing. What else is there to do really?

Last time people wanted to get all crazy and do decorations, and wishing wells, favors and i forget what else but it started to seem like more work than a regular shower! and lets remem this is 'fake'! People were getting in wayyy over their heads IMO

Lets keep it simple. I think it is fine the way it is going... As long as a place and date gets secured, theres really not that much to worry about except planning the secret bride exchange of gifts

And as far as games, how about we just say everyone bring a roll of toilet paper for the whole making the bridal gown game and call it a day. Aren't games the worst part anyway?
