Soo I was reading a review and now im totally depressed..

I was reading something Oakslady wrote about how she invited like 320 people and only 120 people said yes... but that day only 50 something people actually showed up!!!!
I would be devistated Now im really worried the same thing will happen to me.
Not to mention this dosent come at the best time for me as I sent out my invitations on Friday!!!

Don't worry- What will be wil be. You can't control this so it's really not worth getting upset over. I am sure most people know when you're getting married. What counts is that you and FH will be married and celebrating together. You don't need hundreds of people for that.

Now I keep picturing a huge ballroom that holds 400 people and 50 people ( 5 tables) sitting in it.

I wouldn't worry about it. I'm only expecting about 90 or so out of the 120 we are inviting to come. The people who matter will be there, and your husband, that is what is important.

If people respond Yes and do not show, call them up when u returne from your honeymoon and ask for them to send the money to cover their plate... I know a few folks that did that! I sure will be doin git.. You don't say Yes and then not show...

you know people that did that? Wow...thats pretty intense.

Don't worry lady, her situation sounds like the EXCEPTION - you will be more than fine.

I dont know if I could get the up the nerve to do that, but I love the idea its genius. If someone responds yes and no shows that is just wrong!!!

i hate to say it but that just has to be oakslady's situation....something mustve been up with that whole affair cause thats alot of no's

figure that almost all of your family will be going- for me and fh that alone is about 120 (our minimum) add on all our freinds and were at about 160

plus, once that first round of invites comes in, maybe you can invite people you never thought you could because of some no's

i agree! i think that that is def an Extreme situation!!! there could possibly have been some reason to that that we dont know about (and she just mentioned briefly that that was the final numbers... you could Bet that if that was me, you ladies wouldnt hear the end of it!!) So i wouldnt worry too much about that, date cousin.... you will be fine

I definitely think that other bride had extreme circumstances. I felt so bad when I read that. But you have nothing to worry about!!
