i dropped my phone and can u believe the way that it dropped it shattered into soo many pieces it is not fixable!! and mind u i have nooo money to buy a new one, PLUS I cant get any phone numbers out of the phone cause i saved my numbers to the phone and not the SIM CArd what the hell is a sim card anyways!!! i m livid right now cause i have no way to get any of my numbers and i dont know soooo many pples, i m so screwed right now

I never knew that if your phone has a SIM card that you could just save to the phone directly.
Isn't that what the SIM card is for? For storage?
Just get a new phone off ebay.

Ok first off you can check your messages from a land line so the first thing I would do is change your greeting to tell people your cell is broke but to leave a message, including their phone number so you can get back to them....this way if anyone calls you then they know to leave their number rather than just a message.

But alas grasshopper .... she did say she had no money to buy a *NEW* phone. Used phones on ebay are usually cheap. And older models you can usually get for practically chump change.

Plus... you can also post an ad on craigslist asking if anyone has an old phone to *donate* to a nice girl. You may be surprised on how many responses you get.

Did you have insurance on it at all?
Switch carriers, get your number ported over and a good deal on whatever their phone of the moment happens to be and make sure you get insurance on that one!!!

OHHHH I feel for you. I have dropped and broke so many phones. Then I got a new phone once and I was cleaning my car and I left it on the trunk of my car. Dad was getting on my nerves so I left. Pulled out of the driveway got to the en of the block and it flew off and got ran off. Like in 900 pieces. So I bought a new phone the same one. (300.00) Had that for a few months, Got watter in it. GONE!!! Had no money for a new one. So lived with out it for a month or so. I feel for you.

A friend of mine had one of the older motorola phones from Nextel he ran it over with a forklift, wanted an insurance job on it, but that's beside the point. He couldn't kill it. Some of the smaller pieces broke but it still worked.
They don't make 'em like they used to.

DH just got a new cell phone...because the LCD screen broke and you couldn't see anything. At the verizon store...they charged him $10 to copy all his phone numbers into the new phone.
