We are getting closer ladies!!!! What have y'all done, or what vendors have you looked into?
FH and I have stalled, other than meeting with Cantor Rokofsky, who will perform the Jewish part of the ceremony, and he is contacting Reverend Chapman (i think thats the name) for us to see about the christian part of the ceremony.
We havent looked at DJs or Florists, not having limos, and its too early to block rooms.
How about you guys?

Like you, we're stalled. We have the church and RH booked.
Our next step is photographers. We've been looking around but lately not as much as we should. One of the problems is even if we find someone we dont really have the extra money to put a deposit down (esp. since we have payments due at JT every few months).
When I'm online I love looking around for bridal gowns and BM dresses. I dont want to get my dress until a year before bc I'm still losing weight and inches- i'm afraid of it not fitting correctly. Also, I'm afraid of the color fading (which im sure wont happen but you never know) and a new style i like better coming out. I also like to look for ideas for centerpieces, esp. since I want to make my own.
I've designed a few STDs on the computer. I really think I want to make my own.
All in all, I'm mostly just browsing online. Its hard to book vendors when you cant really afford to put deposits on anything!

Well I just booked the Florist, I know the photographer/videographer that we are booking i just have to actually call and make it official and put down the deposit.
Next is DJ. I looked at one DJ, but not sure about that one so I need to look at others. After the DJ, I think i will be done for a little bit because I will mainly just have the officiant left to book.

We have the catering hall and the church..
we finished Pre Cana, tomorrow we are going to book the photographer (YaY...so excited!) The DJ I think will be the same one from the eparty...so we will have him booked within a week...other then that I dont want to do anything else right now! I dont have an interest in looking at dresses and I think flowers can wait till next year. I want to save some planning, and all of the most important vendors will be booked already, so we are going to take a break after this!

The next thing I'll looking to book is the band. We are having an Italian/American band. There are not many good bands out there that sing Italian and American and have no accents so I wanna be sure to the one I want. Tomorrow we are seeing a band and hopefully love them and if thats the case, were booking!

we have totally stalled, if not back tracked on our planning....our church isnt working with us and we decided to change our choice of hall for money reasons...this is soo super hard, and it doesnt help that him and i cant make up our minds!!!

We're just about ready to meet with photographers. I really have my heart set on one, but I have a few in mind to look at. After that is the florist.
The very LAST thing I'll get is my dress. I need to lose quite a bit before I even walk into a bridal salon and depress myself.

wellll ..i havnt started yet on anything ..... but i have been browsing around on the computer ... andd some window shopping ... i am about to start to order the vases for my center pieces ...since im makin them myself

we booked the hall...but that's about it...
i know who i want to use for my photographer but he's not booking 2010 until early-mid 2009
so that's probably when i'll start looking into things...i rather focus on school and saving up money for payments right now

we booked our RH and thats about it. We took a break to do some planning for our engagement party and we have a cruise coming up in less than 2 weeks as well. i think we'll start looking at photographers the end of may beginning of june
